Simple /Easy Fish Fry/ Pan Fried Fish is succulent, delectable, moist and crispy outside. This is a very simple, easy ,yet tasty recipe to prepare in no time with easily available ingredients in pantry .

Ingredients
  

  • ½ kg Sheela fish
  • 3 teaspoon Sambhar powder (or)Chilli powder &coriander powder(11/2 teaspoon and 11/2 tsp)
  • teaspoon Ginger garlic paste 
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder 
  • ¾ teaspoon Salt (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • ¼ cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Clean and wash fish two to three times and pat dry on kitchen tissue. Get ready with all the masala powder.
  • In a mixing bowl add all the masala powder and ginger garlic paste and add little water and mix it like a paste that can coat well on fish.
  • Dip fish in the masala mix and let it coat well. Apply masala paste and keep the fish in the fridge for 30 mins which is optional.
  • Add oil in a pan and fry fish on medium heat. Flip fish piece gently and cook both the sides properly.
  • Transfer to an absorbent tissue and serve as Starter or a side to any flavoured rice or Sambhar or Rasam rice.

Notes

Any variety of fish is preferable for this recipe.
While applying masalas pinch fish gently ,so the masalas get absorbed well. This I learnt from ,my Amma.
