Ingredients
  

  • ½ kg Prawns (medium sized)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoon Home made Sambhar Powder  (or) chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cornflour 
  • ¾ teaspoon All purpose flour 
  • ½ teaspoon Salt (or) to taste

Instructions
 

  • Clean and devein prawns well. To it add Turmeric powder, Home made Sambhar Powder Or Chilli powder, Salt, cornflour.
  • Mix well until masala mixture is distribute evenly. Add little water and gently mix until the masala paste is well coated on each prawn. Let it rest for 10 minutes or fry immediately too.
  • In a pan add oil and fry prawn on medium heat. Fry for 3 minutes until it turns golden brown.
  • Transfer on to a absorbent paper to absorb extra oil.
  • Easy, simple and yet scrumptious dish is ready to serve. Prawn fry/Fried Shrimp goes well as starter and also pairs well with Fried rice, Sambhar rice or Rasam rice. I prefer to have with hot Rasam rice and make the day meal simple with this simple easy Prawn fry.

Notes

Firstly take time to clean and devein Prawns neatly.
Secondly wash the deveined prawn twice or thrice in running water.
Use Sambhar or Chilli powder available in your pantry.
You can add garam masala if you like .
You any spices according to your palates taste.
