Pallipalayam Chicken Fry /Simple Chicken Fry is an easy simple spicy dish that can be prepared in few minutes. If you want to prepare a side dish and have no time for it,go for this simple recipe.
Heat oil in a kadhai on a medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add cut Shallots and dry chillies in the oil and saute well.
When shallots are translucent, add chicken, turmeric powder, curry leaves and salt to taste and mix well.
Now add ¾ cup water and cook with lid covered.
Stir occasionally and let it cook for 15 mins until tender and dry. Finally garnish it with curry leaves and transfer into a bowl.

Notes
Use small or Bite sized Boneless chicken .Use only Shallots/Pearl onion as recipe calls .Do not add any other extra ingredients to increase the flavour . If added you may not get the authentic taste of this recipe.
