This easy chocolate ganache is easy to prepare with only three ingredients- chocolate, fresh cream, and butter! It is an easy and delectable dessert topping and loved by all.
In a wide bowl, add dark chocolate chips and keep them aside.
In a saucepan, add fresh cream on medium heat and bring it to a boil.
To the fresh cream, add a teaspoon of butter.
Stir well until the butter melts and mix well with the cream. Let the cream boil for a few seconds, or else the cream will curdle.
Pour the hot cream mixture on the chocolate and let it sit for two to three minutes or until the chocolate melts completely.
Do not stir the chocolate mixture vigorously as it creates air bubbles making the ganache grainy.
Smooth, glossy spreadable chocolate ganache is ready to layer any cakes. I layered a chocolate cake and spread the chocolate ganache with a palette knife. If you want to pipe rosettes or any decoration, wrap the bowl with cling film and allow it to cool on the kitchen counter or refrigerate for a few minutes. When it is perfectly cooled, pipe it as per your wish
