Kale Apple Banana Smoothie

This smoothie contains kale, banana, and apple blended with almond milk and maple syrup. This is a tasty and healthy beverage filled with leafy green goodness, plant milk goodness, and fruit goodness. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber, thus an excellent morning booster or a health-boosted energy drink.

You all need a few minutes, say three to four minutes, to whip up this smoothie. To make this smoothie, you will require fresh kale leaves, an apple, a banana, almond milk, and an optional sweetener. ( I used maple syrup as this is my regular sweetener for my smoothies.). Blend them until they become smooth, and you will have a healthy and tasty drink.

Instructions to prepare kale apple banana smoothie

In a blender, add chopped apple and banana.

To it add kale and maple syrup.
  1. Tear or chop kale and add it to the blender with maple syrup.
Finally, add almond milk to blend the kale apple banana smoothie.

Substitutions & Variations for Kale Apple Banana Smoothie

  • Kale: You can substitute kale with spinach or Romaine lettuce.
  • Apples: The best alternatives for apples are pears, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and pineapples.
  • Bananas: Mango and avocado are great substitutes for bananas, as they provide creaminess and natural sweetness similar to that of a banana.
  • Almond nut milk: You can substitute almond milk with regular milk, oat milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, soy milk, Greek yogurt, or yogurt. All these options provide excellent nutritional benefits.
