Notes
Powder granulated sugar as it helps to combine easily with butter .
You can use any custard powder available in your kitchen.
I made a simple fork impression pattern to design cookies. You can use cookie cutter or design as per your wish.
Try to maintain even size cookies . Uneven sized cookies leads to half bake or burn .
You can substitute cornflour/starch for custard powder . Do add colour gel or liquid and flavour to the cookie dough.
Finally , first batch of cookies take more time ( 15 minutes) to bake . Second and third batch takes only 12 to 13 minutes to bake. So have an eye while baking.
And also every oven behaves different, so adjust time and heat according to it.

Hi I tried your so nice and simple recipe. You havent used baking powder in it. Is it okay without it? And I have a microwave, not oven. So I put the cookies inside microwave for 40-50 seconds as told on internet. They remained soft like doughy as they were initially. How to turn them into hard and crisp cookies? Do I refrigerate them?
JAYANTHY
Hi, follow the recipe as it is. Many have tried and messaged me positive results. Well, cookies should be baked in an oven. Either, it should be an OTG or Microwave convection oven as Microwave do not brown food and distribute heat evenly. Some followers have baked in pressure cooker ( which I have not tried ).
