Chicken Cutlet/Chicken Patties/ Tikki/Croquettes is simple and easy to make and can be used for Burger buns, Wraps, Sliders, or can eat with sauce, mayonnaise, sweet chilly sauce, etc.
Kids all time favourite dish and it can be made with any meat or vegetables or can combine meat with any vegetable according to their taste buds. Today I have made this Chicken Cutlet /Chicken Patties/ Tikki /Croquettes with minced Chicken and minimal spices .
The outer layer is crisp and juicy delicious centre with meat makes a perfect Appetizer/Starter for any Party. Boneless chicken (CHUNK OR BREAST) can be minced in a food processor and finely chopped onion ,chillies,ginger with home made chilli powder and salt to taste is added. Lets see how to prepare these delicious Chicken cutlet/Patty/Tikki/Croquettes in step by step preparation.

Cooking Time : 20 mins

Ingredients
Bonless chicken (minced) – 300 gms
All purpose flour – 2 to 3 tsp
Onion – 2
Green Chillies – 3
Ginger – 1/2 an inch
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 1/4 cup
Salt – 1 tsp or to taste
For Binding
Egg – 1
Bread Crumbs – 1 cup
Let’s see step by step preparation of Chicken Cutlet/ Patties / Tikki / Croquettes
Get ready with all the ingredients.
In a pan add oil on a medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and saute until translucent. To it add finely chopped green chillies and ginger and saute well.
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste and mix well on low heat. Switch off the flame and transfer to a bowl and let it cool.
Add minced chicken to fried mixture and mix well. To it add 2 tsp All purpose flour and mix well until it combines well .
Divide it into 8 equal balls or u according to the size you prefer.
Slightly flatten the chicken ball and dip in a beaten egg mixture.
Dab the Chicken ball in bread crumbs until it coats evenly.
In a frying pan add 2 tbsp oil and fry well on a low medium heat and gently flip the other side to cook well.
When it is done transfer on to a plate spread with an absorbent paper.
Yummy Crispy Juicy delectable Chicken Cutlet/Patty/Tikki/ Croquette is ready to have as it is or as a stuffing for a wrap,Slider etc.
