This paneer (cottage cheese) vegetable salad is a quick recipe to whip together. Yes, it needs only fifteen minutes to start and serve. But, in this recipe, pepper and salt seasoning makes the magic for this salad. Wonder, no vinaigrette is added, so it is a simple and filling salad that you can have any time.
Ingredients need for paneer(cottage cheese) vegetable salad
- paneer (cottage cheese)
- bell pepper (green)
- onion
- freshly ground pepper
- salt to taste
- flavourless oil
- coriander leaves for garnish
Variations
Based on your palate’s tastes, you can add any vegetables with paneer. I make it simple by adding green bell pepper and onion.

Firstly, dice the onion, capsicum, and paneer into equal sizes and keep them aside. In a pan or wok, add a little oil and add onion. Toss onion for a minute and make sure it doesn’t lose its crunchiness.
Now add diced bell pepper and toss again for a minute. Switch off the flame.
Add in freshly crushed peppercorns and sprinkle salt to taste.
Finally, add in paneer( cottage cheese ) and toss well. Mix well until the seasoning coats paneer and vegetable.
